By plane
The nearest airports are the Pisa and Florence airports.
From the Pisa airport, take the train for Florence and then change trains in Empoli.
From the Florence airport, take a taxi or shuttle to reach the central train station of Santa Maria Novella; from there, take the train that goes directly to Siena or the direct bus that stops just a short distance from the Relais. Both services are available every hour.
By car
Coming from NorthFrom Milan, Bologna, Florence, take the Florence-Siena highway and exit at Siena Nord, then continue in the direction of Centro/Fortezza (Centre/Fortress).
From Turin, Genoa, Pisa, take the Pisa – Florence highway and exit at Empoli Ovest, then follow directions for Siena.
From Rome, take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Florence and exit at Siena Bettolle, then follow directions for Siena.
By train
From the Siena train station, take a taxi or one of the public buses (no. 3, 8, 10, 17, 77) to reach Piazza del Sale, which is just a short walk away from Via Montanini, or buses no. 2, 4, 10 to reach Piazza Gramsci, which is also close to the “Relais degli Angeli”.
It is possible to reach the Relais to drop off trhe luggage, taking care that the only access to the historic center to reach us is Piazza Matteotti. First we suggest to insert in your GPS VIALE CURTATONE, n. 16 to avoid entering the ZTL from a wrong passage! So you will find on the right the Garage Busi, and taking the ramp on the right you will reach Piazza Matteotti. Follow, after completing the roundabout, the Vicolo del Cavallerizzo and then on the left VIA DEI MONTANINI 83. Again, we will ask the permit.
