By plane
The nearest airports are the Pisa and Florence airports.
From the Pisa airport, take the train for Florence and then change trains in Empoli.
From the Florence airport, take a taxi or shuttle to reach the central train station of Santa Maria Novella; from there, take the train that goes directly to Siena or the direct bus that stops just a short distance from the Relais. Both services are available every hour.
By train
From the Siena train station, take a taxi or one of the public buses (no. 3, 8, 10, 17, 77) to reach Piazza del Sale, which is just a short walk away from Via Montanini, or buses no. 2, 4, 10 to reach Piazza Gramsci, which is also close to the “Relais degli Angeli”.
By car
Coming from NorthFrom Milan, Bologna, Florence, take the Florence-Siena highway and exit at Siena Nord, then continue in the direction of Centro/Fortezza (Centre/Fortress).
From Turin, Genoa, Pisa, take the Pisa – Florence highway and exit at Empoli Ovest, then follow directions for Siena.
From Rome, take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Florence and exit at Siena Bettolle, then follow directions for Siena.
We remind you that Relais degli Angeli hasn’t got its own private parking and that it is located inside the historical centre, inside the ZTL (restricted area).
For all our guests who wish to enter and then park independently, we may however request a ZTL permit, for entry from the Piazza Matteotti gate where is possible to stop for unloading in the same square, or in the following Via Malavolti. Once you have brought your luggage to the facility, you will have to exit the restricted traffic zone (from Piazza Matteotti) and then go and park independently.
